program, is a wonderful way to

a monthly gift and
provide the reliable support that is so vital to saving
lives and creating a Heart Smart Bermuda.
Heart disease continues to be the leading cause of death
in Bermuda, with 1 in 3 fatalities being attributed to
the disorder. The good news is, in most cases these risk
factors are preventable and can be easily
treated with on-going intervention measures and
hands on preventative education. To that end, the BHF
plans to launch the first Prevention and Intervention
Center that will offer life saving programs and
services to at-risk individuals with a view to reducing
the local at risk population by 25% over six years.
The I Pledge program asks for you to make a monthly
commitment to the Bermuda Heart Foundation. When you
pledge it means our staff can remain focused on critical
programs and service. What's more, the program helps the
Bermuda Heart Foundation reduce expenses by reducing the
high cost associated to fundraising.
Here is how it works:

You determine the amount of your monthly donation.

We will charge your pledge to your credit card each
month (charges are made on or around the same date
each month).

We will send you an e-mail each month, confirming
the charge was made. (optional)

Your membership will automatically renew each year,
ensuring that you will never miss an issue of My
Bermuda Heart News Letter.

With a pledge of $5.00 per month we can purchase
screening testing materials
With a pledge of $15.00 per month we can support our
healthy schools program.
With a more generous pledge of $35.00 per month we can
build a healthier Bermuda for us all.

program but would like to make a donation you can do so
by way of on-line Bank of Bermuda transfer to our
donation account number 010-791689-012 or by check made
out to the Bermuda Heart Foundation. All of our
